  22. You indeed have unmovable lost files on your hard disk.  Don't worry,
  23. it's quite easy to recover this space.  Just use the following:

  25.    chkdsk /f
  26.  
  27. This should convert those lost files into readable (deletable) files.

  29. This has happened to a machine I was installing Windows 3.0 on.  Somehow
  30. the Windows directory became a Disk Drive with 30 Terabytes of memory!!!
  31. All of the files inside it became lost sectors.  The chkdsk fixed it,
  32. but I would still like to find that extra disk space!  :-)
