- I have heard a little bit about the 32 bit Local Bus that is used by
- some video cards ( e.g. S3 based ) to improve throughbit. Is this
- the same as the Intel OverDrive socket or the Processor Enhancement
- Socket?? Does it add a lot of cost to the motherboard ( I'm looking at
- a 486/33)?

- Also does it really improve performance substantially, especially under windows.
- And what cards are the best to use that can use this?
