- Hello again,
-
- After receiving numerous replies to my original post two days
- ago, the majority consensus agreed the Maxtor drive was the better
- deal of the two drives. I did receive some supportive replies for the
- Seagates, however given it's past history, Lenny (My college buddy)
- decided to play it safe and go with the Maxtor 130M IDE drive.
- Its speeder than the Seagate (15ms vs 17ms) and it seems to be a
- favorite among those who Emailed me with their experiences with both
- drives. I would like to thank the following people with helping us
- make a better, more informed decision:
-
- David Willmore, John M. Kroehle, Rithea Hong, Philip M.Poe, H.C.Polly
- Bob Wilson, Richard M. Macheske, and Steven A. Bohman.
