  12. I'm running Windows 3.1 on a 386SX25 with a DiamondSpeedstar VGA. Graphics
  13. performance is rather slow, especially when doing window text scrolling,
  14. which is horrible.

  16. The VGA card itself seems quite fast, so I'm trying to figure out the
  17. bottleneck - would either a math coprocessor (387) help or a faster/wider
  18. CPU (e.g a 386DX) ?

  20. I've tried drivers from the Microsoft BBS, Diamond plus the TurboWindows
  21. one, they are all within 10-15% of each other in scrolling performance.

  23. Any ideas on what the bottleneck is/how to fix it ?
