  18. I am quite sure it's not the Phoenix 80386SX ROM BIOS that is the cause
  19. of your extended video modes from working.  It's probably your video BIOS
  20. (which may be or not be) which is the culprit or that your hardware just
  21. doesn't work right.  I don't think it could be the monitor, since 640x400x256
  22. is almost like text mode timings for the display, but with more colors.
