- No kidding -- People worry about "Will the P5 be compatible with my
- 80486???" (Some have wanted PIN compatibility, for god sakes!) But it
- looks like we need to trash the system architectures that have us
- trapped.

- Of course, the downside is having to completely redesign motherboards,
- expansion cards, compilers, etc., each time something better comes along
- in the CPU area. Not to mention how much worse those of us who have
- 286s will feel....
