  13.   I am trying to get information on dip switch settings and any operating
  14. information on USDC 4220 access accelerator SCSI->ESDI bridgeboard (access
  15. ESDI drives off of SCSI buss)
  16.  
  17.   If you have no info, but are familiar with USDS, an address or phone number
  18. (or both) would be nice.

  20.   I will be using the board to control up to 4 Maxtor XT8760E drives...
  21.  
  22. Anyone have info on the jumpers on the XT8760E, I called Maxtor and used 
  23. their menu system to get jumper info on sectors/track (52,53, or 54) and
  24. their info did not match the jumper settings on either of the 2 XT8760E
  25. drives I currently have and I had even less success getting anything to work
  26. when I used Maxtor's setting for 54 sec/trk....

  28. Has anyone ever tried this combination ?

  30. I will be hinging the bridgeboard with drives off of my Adpatec 1522B SCSI
  31. card.....

  33. Here is what I currently get.....
  34.  
  35. 1. Bridgeboard is recognized as existing on SCSI buss
  36. 2. 1st attempt to AFDISK (adaptec software) resulted in a strange 
  37.    geometry (with only 560Meg) and a write error writing the partition
  38. 3. 1st format (via 1522's BIOS) formatted succesfully
  39. 4. 2nd AFDISK (after 1st format) results in a drive not ready error
  40.  
  41. Any info on the USDC bridgeboard or the Maxtor XT8760E will be
  42. greatly appreciated....
