- At the library where I work we are getting ready to purchase 50+ 33 Mhz/
- 64 K cache 486 (ISA bus) machines for library staff and students using our
- micro-computer lab. The local vendor that we are considering is offering
- us a choice of Micronics or Chips-and-Technologies motherboards. Micronics
- is a little over $100 more expensive. We we be running DOS, Windows,
- and OS2 on the machines.
- We would appreciate any information about experience with
- these brands of boards. Information about the relative quality of other
- brands would also be welcome.
