  16. I suggest you to consider SupraFaxModem V.32bis; I have used
  17. it for 2.5 months 2-4 hours per day with no major problems.
  18. When I measured it, it transmitted about 240CPS in 500kB .ZIP file
  19. and about 300CPS using regular text file (1.4MB Index.ALL file
  20. from some ftp site). But the speeds may vary depending on the
  21. telephone line quality etc. The G3-fax in modem works pretty well, too.
  22. It has also a five-year warranty. It costs about $500 here in Finland, 
  23. but I believe you can get it MUCH cheaper from anywere else.
