- I suggest you to consider SupraFaxModem V.32bis; I have used
- it for 2.5 months 2-4 hours per day with no major problems.
- When I measured it, it transmitted about 240CPS in 500kB .ZIP file
- and about 300CPS using regular text file (1.4MB Index.ALL file
- from some ftp site). But the speeds may vary depending on the
- telephone line quality etc. The G3-fax in modem works pretty well, too.
- It has also a five-year warranty. It costs about $500 here in Finland,
- but I believe you can get it MUCH cheaper from anywere else.
