  14. In my experience, ST-02s work with some non Seagate drives. Not all.

  16. Mine does not work with my 40 MB Quantum drive. This drive works fine
  17. with my Adaptech 1522 if I simply swap controllers, but is not
  18. recognised by the ST-02. I am using the ST-02 with another, non
  19. Segate, drive. It works fine, if a little slowly.

  21. I've also read other reports on the net about ST-01 and ST-02 not
  22. working with certain drives. Seagate says they only work with Seagate
  23. drives, but net experience says you pays your money ( very little
  24. money ) and you takes your chances. ST-01 and ST-02 controllers
  25. work with some, but not all, non Segate drives.
