- Friend of mine has the following requirement: He wants to FAX copies of
- his resumes to headhunters, employers, and such. He doesn't expect to
- need to be able to receive FAXes, just send them. The resume exists as
- a file in his PC. Seems to me that a plug in board could "fake" the
- signals that a real FAX machine would generate when sending a FAX.
- Take the file to be sent, format it in the format a FAX machine would
- use to send it. The receiving FAX would "think" that your PC and board
- was a real FAX machine, and produce hard copy FAX. Seems that such
- a board & software), if exists, might cost a lot less than a real FAX
- machine. Does anyone know if such a "send FAX only" PC plug in board
- exists, and who makes it, how much, and where to get it?
- thanks
