- I am in need of help with a Tecmar memory expansion card. While cleaning
- my home office the other day, I came across a board that I hadn't seen
- since '86 (before I ever owned a PC). Anyway, it is a Tecmar memory
- expansion (I think). When I put it in my system, my system only sees
- 256k of it's 640k. This appears to me to be an address conflict. However,
- I know nothing of this board. Here is all the information I can get off
- the board itself:
- 1.) Tecmar
- 2.) 200044 Rev. E
- 3.) Captain
- 4.) 155
- 5.) 24118BVO
- 6.) 506020099
- 7.) Locations U35-U70 are filled with 256k chips
- 8.) Locations U71-U88 are empty
- 9.) All jumpers are out
- 10.) All switches on the only switch pack are off
- Items 2 and 3 are printed on bothe sides of the card. If any of these look
- like a part number and anybody recognizes this board by it's less than exact
- description, I would appreciate any help (what is this board exactly, what
- do I need to set the jumpers and switches to, etc., etc., etc.). Thanks
- much in advance. Please email me direct, as I am unable to frequently
- access this newsgroup.
