- I just bought a HP deskjet 500 yesterday. Overall I am satisfied with it,
- except one thing I am not so happy about. When I print out a LIGHT GRAY
- shaded region(I used the drawing tool in MS word 2.0 to create it, but I think
- it should be the same for other drawing tools), I can see some uneven
- distribution of the dots on some horizantal lines. It looks like the there
- is a uneven gap between each scan of the printer head. I need to look careful
- to see it, but it is more clear when I used the scalable driver 1.0 that come
- with the printer. It feels like the ink catridge is not firmly attached to the
- body, and might shift a little during printing. I went back to the store and
- got a new catridge, but it is still doing the same thing. Does anybody has any
- experience like this? Or am I expecting too much from this printer? Any advice
- is deeply appreciated.
