  10. I've got a Sysgen SmartImage 60 tape drive, and Sysgen
  11. insists that the only way to use the newest version of the
  12. driver software (which is free) is to purchase their $350
  13. (For you, my friend, on special for only $250) new
  14. controller card.

  16. The new driver is supposed to work better with DOS 5 and
  17. allow more flexibility in dealing with errors.

  19. Questions:
  20.     Does anyone else in the civilized world use a 
  21.     Sysgen tape drive
  22.  
  23.     Does anyone have a reccommendation for a fast
  24.     (4MB/min or better) external tape drive to replace
  25.     the Sysgen? $250 for a controller card for an old
  26.     unit seems steep...
