- I finally looked at my multi-IO card, and on it are 2 unsocketed chips
- labeled Goldstar 16450. The chips are rather large and have 40 pins.
- Can I remove them and replace them with the 16550AFN? Is that all
- there is to it hardware-wise, besides letting Windows and any comm
- programs know about it?
