- I struggeled with this password-problem at spring, but chancing
- hard disk (from 210MB to 40MB) did not help. The machine said,
- 'Run CMOS Setup' and asked to press F1. When I pressed it, it
- asked for password...
- Anyway, today I was sorting and cleaning diskettes in office and I saw a
- disk labeled 'Advanced CMOS Setup' which came with Express SX/16 machine
- with real exotic bios. So, because I had nothing to loose, I put disk on
- drive and ran the program. I selected option 'Clear CMOS' ;-) and returned
- to DOS. Then, I pressed Reset switch, and it happened, message saying
- 'CMOS Error - Run SETUP'. I booted machine again, pressing Del and Voila!
- No passwords any more :-)
- I've informed local DTK dealer about succeeding in CMOS wiping.
-
- Thanks for helps, anyway.
