- It appears to me that this person doesn't own the original disks!!

- I recently installed DOS 5 on my old XT (I had to wipe a centimeter of
- dust off the thing first!). It's DOS directory was C:\SYSTEM so the
- new DOS was installed straight away without me having to delete any
- files at all. I found that if I tried to run any of the programs in the
- \SYSTEM directory it would give me that same error. What I expect is
- that somewhere in your CONFIG.SYS you are installing a driver that was
- used by the last DOS you had, or an old application.
