- I have a question about monitors...generally larger ones. Why is it that most
- 17" monitors tend to have uneven borders? I mean that the extremes of the
- screen don't stay perfectly horizontal on top and bottom and vertical on the
- sides. This is not to say that the image is unstable or anything, just that
- the top of the screen is just not striaght...sort of bends in about 3 inches
- out from the center. I have noticed this type (not the same pattern) of
- distortion on NeXT 17" monitors and on my Sony 17" 1604s. I am trying to
- figure out if it's a problem with my Sony that I need to have corrected or
- something. Any insight?
