- 1) HP95 ram cards are *physically* different from HP48 ram cards. The
- only thing they have in common is memory and a 'flatness' characteristic.
- 2) The HP48SX can address 128K in each slot. Period. You can *fool* it by
- switching in different memory blocks in the same slot. If that memory is
- merged, then switched out, the machine barfs the next time it tries to
- look in that block.
- 3) There are off-spec Epson ram cards used in Smith Corona typewriters that
- are of the same physical form factor as HP48 RAM cards. They can sometimes
- be made to work in the 48. Sometimes they destroy the memory controller.
