  11.     As long as this thread is alive.  I have a question for someone
  12. with HP.  What is the significance of the first four digits of the serial
  13. number?  We have a lot of HP equipment and there seems to be a correlation
  14. between the year of manumfature and the first two digits ( add 60 ).  If 
  15. this is true then what are the next two digits?
