  19. i would like to do multiple fbackups too, and i acquired the patch which allows
  20. mediainit to partition a DAT tape into two pieces, with the aim of having
  21. different things in each partition - but i can't figure out how to tell the
  22. software (fbackup etc, or even tar) or the hardware to use the second
  23. partition...      perhaps using mt to skip to EOD ?

  25. it isn't mentioned in *any* of the manual pages i looked at - not even the one
  26. for mediainit which tells you how to do the partitioning - in fact, no other 
  27. man pages even mentioned the word partition on a tape drive :(
