  38. I was under the impression that for the 635 and one or two other 600
  39. series machines, the AT&T kernel user-counting scheme was abandoned,
  40. and 2 users means two users, period, network or otherwise.

  42. I was also under the impression that it was possible to buy the 635 as
  43. a >2 user machine, but the license was *very* expensive.  This
  44. contradicts what Bob Niland said in another post, and he usually knows
  45. what he is talking about.

  47. I was under these impressions as a result of extensive discussions
  48. with HP salespeople and SE's, and it was these facts(?) that convinced
  49. us not to buy a 635.  So if I'm wrong, there should be some red faces
  50. at HP.

  52. Just out of curiosity, how difficult/expensive is it to upgrade one of
  53. those to an 837, if it's possible at all?
