  17. The decision was based on the fact that many (note I didn't say "all")
  18. s800 customers are more concerned with robustness than access to a wider
  19. source/variety of peripherals.  We've tested some third party
  20. peripherals and found they work fine in "normal" operation but cause
  21. problems in corner cases (e.g., powerfail situations; on a heavily used
  22. bus with other devices).
