- HP have a product designed to do backups over networks. It is fully
- supported on the 700 workstation -- BUT it is *very* expensive. How
- much is your data worth?

- The product is called HP OmniBack. It is (I think) based on OSF's
- DCE, and uses disk agents to read and a tape agent to write to the
- DDS across the LAN. It can backup quite fast indeed, and using the
- index method, restore any file in just a few minutes.
