- It should work. It is possible that you are using the byte-swapped
- device on the SGI end, in which case you would have problems. You
- probably want to use /dev/rmt/tps0d#nsv, where # is the SCSI ID
- of the drive. If you get an i/o error from this, try tps0d#ns.

- The only devices that should ever need the byte swapping device
- (swapping done in the driver) are QIC tapes, for backwards
- SGI compatibility.
