- We just installed an HP 9000/720 with HP-UX 8.05 and we use a PC
- running MS-Kermit (v 3.01) as a terminal. I try to transfer files
- between the PC and the HP using Kermit. When I escaped back to local
- Kermit and gave the receive/send commands, an error said "No response
- from host" then the file transfer failed.
-
- I tried different parities, stty settings, none worked.
-
- I called the HP Response Center and was told that the Kermit on HP
- 9000 is for file transfers between HP workstations, so it won't work
- between PC's and the HP. I don't believe that's true.
-
- If anyone can help me on this I'll greatly appreciate it.
