  12. We just installed an HP 9000/720 with HP-UX 8.05 and we use a PC
  13. running MS-Kermit (v 3.01) as a terminal.  I try to transfer files
  14. between the PC and the HP using Kermit.  When I escaped back to local
  15. Kermit and gave the receive/send commands, an error said "No response
  16. from host" then the file transfer failed.

  18. I tried different parities, stty settings, none worked.

  20. I called the HP Response Center and was told that the Kermit on HP
  21. 9000 is for file transfers between HP workstations, so it won't work
  22. between PC's and the HP.  I don't believe that's true.

  24. If anyone can help me on this I'll greatly appreciate it.
