  21. I attempted this fix in order to speed up displays from Mathematica.
  22. It worked with some unfortunate side effects.  The windows are prone
  23. to disappear at the slightest provocation.  Clicking in the window
  24. will cause them to disappear.  Trying to use the menus on the window
  25. causes them to go away.  I dunno what the fix to this fix is.  BTW,
  26. I am using OpenWindows 3.0....
