  16. We have been trying to generate the HPUX kernel
  17. and have faced the following nasty problem.  I
  18. wonder if any of you have seen it before and 
  19. whether you have any advice on how to go about 
  20. it.

  26. We are trying to introduce a new system call to the
  27. HPUX kernel (version 8.07).  After compiling the kernel 
  28. with the new system call, we fail to boot up the system 
  29. (HP 9000/720 series machine) with the new kernel.  If we 
  30. nulify the body of the new system call (empty procedures), 
  31. the system boots up fine.  I appreciate any suggestions on 
  32. how to go about this problem.
