  23.    This is nonsens. HP's resize checks the TERM environment variable for
  24.    the controlcodes. Your users should set their TERM variable to 'hp' or
  25.    'hpterm' and of course, a terminfo entry for this terminals should
  26.    exist on the target system.

  29. Please read more carefully before you respond.  The resize I am looking for
  30. is one that will run on a non-HP system.  As I said in my original request,
  31. HP's resize does exactly the right thing, unfortunately I do not have the
  32. source for it, consequently if I am sitting in front of an HP display, open
  33. up a local hpterm, rlogin to say a DECstation (to which I have added an
  34. hpterm termcap entry), and resize the window, I am stuck.
