  24. Yeah - Psion really didn't get their quality control together on this
  25. product (we have about 8 Psions, from XP's to LZ's in our laboratory,
  26. and the Series 3 was the first with any problem).

  28. My first Psion 3 came with the black facing around the screen missing !
  29. The second one came with the flimsy black facing instead of the
  30. nicer and harder facing, but to be fair Psion did swap it for me free
  31. of charge (the older flimsy facing meant that the screen was no so
  32. easy to read).

  34. I also had to wait about 3 months, so was pretty cheesed off with
  35. this.  Having said that, I've had it for about 2 months, and am
  36. delighted with it now.

  44. Unless you are a government org'n (eg NHS) buying through HMSO 
  45. when you can get the 256k version for about 170.00.  We've bought 2 at
  46. that price.

  51. I've got a 1Mb RAM card (was between 300 and 400 pounds I think) and
  52. it is quite astounding how useful this makes the machine - I can store
  53. loads of databases, documents etc.

  55. All in all a great machine (but I've never used a sharp, hp  etc, and
  56. wanted something so that we could have portability throughout our labs
  57. handhelds).
