- Peter asks about the TI-88 and if anyone ever saw one.
- Well, I saw one - Richard Nelson, who set up and ran PPC (THE original
- PPC in the USA) - had one of the very few that TI made. They were never
- put on open sale - apparently they could not do as much as the HP-41
- which they were supposed to compete with, but the fear at TI was said
- to be that they were too strong a competition for the handheld BASIC
- computers TI were planning to release at the same time. So, the TI-88
- never went on sale.
- Why not come to the conference in London (September 19/20) and ask
- Richard Nelson for more details? ;-)
