- It supports panning across a virtual 80x24 (or is it 25?) screen. For
- those applications which require 80 columns, it allows the display to function
- as an 80 column display and lets you move around the virtual screen using
- Alt arrow keys. By the way, in Unix(tm), you can specify a vt100 terminal
- and then set LINES and COLUMNS accordingly. It won't help applications that
- don't pay attention to it, but most editors will honor the setting, so you
- can do editing easily in Unix that way.
