- I too am a Unix Tech support guy and I bought the HP95LX for the very
- reasons you mentioned and more. I also bought the Worldport 2400 baud
- pocket modem and an acoustic coupler from Radio Shack. The acoustic
- coupler is by far the most cumbersome piece to carry around, but it
- allows me to connect from any pay phone. The built-in kermit with
- vt100 emulation is great! I also use it to back the thing up to my
- favorite Unix box.

- I carry the 95LX all the time. I carry the modem and coupler only
- when I have the beeper. Pretty much lets me do what I want.
