  13. HELP !!!!

  15. Got a new HP97540 disk drive (1 gig, formatted).  Running a DEC 5000 with
  16. ULTRIX 4.2.  Want to install.... 
  17. So far we have installed, rebooted, and know that new device is rz3
  18. (did a MAKEDEV)
  19. We already have /usr and /usr1 file systems and want to create /usr2 and
  20. /usr3 on new device.
  21. Did a chpt -q /dev/rrz3a
  22. Says no partition found in superblock.  Looks like we need to do a
  23. newfs command ????
  24. Not sure how to create file system and partitions so that we can adjust sizes
  25. such that /usr2 is about 70% of new disk and /usr3 the remainder.

  27. What is process ???    Run a newfs ??? (how do I know it won't destroy
  28. old file systems ????
  29. what about modifying fstab, disktab, 
  30. what is newfs -N   ??? (is this for a "dry run" ?)

  32. Also, looked at disktab and don't see HP .. Boot says RZxx type.
