- Funny you should ask... I've been capturing parts of the screen and outputting
- to postscript files using XV v2.21, then using psfig to include them in LaTeX
- documents. XV even gives you a good bounding box.

- My suggestion: Abandon the Print Screen application and get XV. The "grab"
- function allows you to capture any part of a screen you want. And you can
- also output an X11 bitmap that you can read into DECpaint to touch up if
- you want, then grab it back into XV. I've also found the CDA viewer nice
- for previewing the dvips output before you print it, since XDVI won't show
- the postscript images. And if you do create an image using DECpaint, XV
- does a nice job of auto-cropping it down to the minimum size (eliminates
- extra border space).
