  14.   This is just a post to thank all of those who have helped me on the
  15. net with info for the pdp-11/34a.
  16.   I got the machine running today. I was able to boot off an rk05 drive
  17. with the diagnostic operating system. (oh well, its a start). 
  18.   
  19.   I am looking for a couple of things to bring my system up to speed.
  20.     1. the ribbon cable to goes from the rl11 controller to the
  21.         cable that runs to the rl01 drive.
  22.     2. any info on 8inch disks. I have 2 8inch drives (in one case)
  23.        is there any software out there still for these drives?
  24.        and is DEC's format compatible with anyother 8 inch drives?
