- Although I seldom see any need to add to Richard's posts (who would question
- somebody smart enough to live in Oz?), I'd like to point out the following:
-
- Option Part No. Resolution Refresh Monitor
-
- MX PMAG-AB 1280 x 1024 72Hz VR319-DA
-
- CX 8pl PMAG-BB 1024 x 864 60Hz VR290-DA/VR299-DA
-
- HX 8pl PMAGB-BB 1280 x 1024 72/66Hz VRT19-HA/VRT16-DA

- HX 8pl PMAGB-BD 1280 x 1024 72/60Hz VRT19-HA/
-
- HX 8pl PMAGB-BF 1280 x 1024 72Hz VRT19-HA
-
- PX 8pl PMAG-CB 1280 x 1024 66Hz VRT19-DA/VRT16-DA
-
- TX 24pl PMAG-JB 1280 x 1024 66Hz VRT19-DA/VRT16-DA
-
- TX 24pl PMAGB-JB 1280 x 1024 72Hz VRT19-HA
-
- PXG 8pl PMAG-DB 1280 x 1024 66Hz VRT19-DA/VRT16-DA

- I just wanted to point out that in addtion to resoulution, the refresh rate
- of the CX won't match the VRT19-DA. And then I thought, well...why not give
- them the full list. The part numbers are all Field Installed graphics options
- (so they are what you would buy as add-ons). I apologize PROFUSELY for using
- North American part numbers for the monitors, there just wasn't room to put
- all of the variants in.
-
- I seem to remember that the 60Hz variant of the HX was intended to allow
- people to keep their VR299-DA type monitors, but I don't see it anyplace in
- my documentation. The HX is configurable (on the cards I have) to refresh rate
- by means of jumpers on the card. And remember that the baseboard graphics of
- the PDS5000/xx is only 1024 x 768 and uses the VRC16-DA monitor (I believe
- that's an XVGA equivalent).
-
- I hope that this helps (I don't think there are any typos in the list, but
- I didn't think I'd screw up the KA630 discussion either...sigh).
-
- Thanx,
- AJ
