  12. I have experience with Pinnacle Micro optical drives (Sony based)
  13. on a DECstation and a SPARCstation. Our favourite 3rd party 
  14. vendor now sells a new drive from Maxoptics and recommends it
  15. very strongly.

  17. 1. Does anyone have experience with the Maxoptics vs Sony?
  18.    Apparently the former is faster and holds 1GB per platter vs 650MB for Sony.
