- Thanx for all those people who helped me to find the Desterm. I downloaded it from milton to my unix dir. Now I am having a new problem:
-
- I never used kermit before, but I have to use it to get the Desterm
- program from unix to my disk. I have a copy of kermit for C=64, but I didn't
- know how to use it(and nobody around seems to know it). I have the following
- questions :
-
- (1). After I load the kermit, how do I dial the number to connect it to my
- school. (Or do I have to set up something?) I typed "help", it seems to me
- that "connect" is the only command to dial the number, but it did not work,
- I tried "at dt" also, but kermit said "Invalid command".
-
- (2). All the details about how to do the file transfer using kermit for the
- C=128.
-
- (3). After I download the .sda file, do I have to use something to compile it?
- or i can just run it right away? If I need to compile it, what should I use?
-
- I know absolutely nothing about the downloading stuff, so please tell
- me all the details as many as possilbe.
-
- Thanx a lot.
