  13. My brother has a 1541 disk drive that has a problem.
  14. When it is turned on the red light comes on on and stays on
  15. and the disk drive motor keeps spinning. Its probably not worth 
  16. taking to a workshop so any ideas on diagnosing the problem would 
  17. be most welcome. Obviously as its a basket case we have no 
  18. trepidation in pulling the gizzards apart if that will help.

  21. a PC, please help before we lose another 64 user.
