- Another option is to simply connect modems on both machines with a telephone
- extension cord. The cord does NOT have to be connected to the phone line!

- I've used this several times for transferring filess from my PC (with
- 2400/MNP5 modem) to my 128 (with a 1200bps modem).

- one modem to pulse dial '0' and be ready at the other to type ATA (I have
