- There is a programm which would be the solution for your problem.
- Geos was never planned to be bootable from a 1581 (due to it's heavy copy-
- protection). Anyway, Jim Colette (if I'm not mistaken) wrote two PRGs
- called "1581boot64" and "1581boot128" and they make a 1581 bootdisk.
- Unfortunately there are some problems: If you have a C64 "1581boot64"
- will ONLY work with a REU (Geos can't switch between drives without one)
- AND as you may have read geos sometimes checks for the copyprotection at
- the desktop which fails causing GEOS to kill track 40 sector 1. To cope
- that problem there's "trojankiller" by Jim Colette, may work fine,
- doesn't work at all on my german desktop 2.0
