- Lots of bad chips could cause this. I had your machine's sister in my
- back room on Saturday. Had two bad chips, a 6510 CPU and a 6526 CIA.
- Both were bad and both caused a "black" screen by themselves. Close to
- half the time, in my experience, the bad chip is the PLA when the
- machine appears to be dead. Could also be a bad power supply, or bad
- VIC or even a bad RAM. Hope you find that helps some. Hope you have
- losts of spare parts.
