- I am still have some trouble getting a terminal to show anything when
- trying to boot a 3B2/400. I now have a vt220 as a console. The cable
- that is connected to the back of the vt220 has a modular adapter that
- is labeled with terminal/printer. Is this the correct adapter?
-
- The speed of the terminal is set to 9600 8bit No parity 1stop bit.
-
- The terminal does work as it was tested on another system, although
- not another 3B2, (the same cable was/could not be used).
-
- When the system is turned on, you hear the fan start spinning, and the
- floppy light go on then off, the power and diagnostic lights are both
- on for about 2-3minutes and then the diagnostic light goes out.
-
- Nothing happens on the terminal screen. Is the system dead or is
- my hookup incorrect??
