- They are probably MUCH too slow. Remember (?) the 8-bit had paddles also -
- they worked by measuring the time it took to charge a capacitor - measured
- in "lines of the screen". ie. updating every 50Hz. I actually made a
- sound digitiser for the 8-bit by doing this myself with a smaller capacitor,
- and by utilising the 8-bits ability to *output* and input throught the
- joystick ports. But I don't think that is possible (or advisable - I blew
- up the GTIA on my 8-bit) on the ST[e].
