- Does anyone have any information on the Atari IBM compatibles, the
- ABC 386 SX/DX IIs? Other than from the brochure, does anyone own
- one of these?
-
- From what I have seen of the computer, the one place I saw it oinly
- had the 386 SX and they were selling it for $750, no monitor. Is
- that the going price for 386 SX systems?
-
- (386 SX II, 1Mb RAM, Phoenix BIOS, SVGA 800x600, 40Mb HD, 17ms
- access, 3.5" 1.44Mb floppy, three open drive bays, two 8bit slots,
- four 16bit slots, MS-DOS 5 and Windows 3, 200w power supply
- 110/220v, parallel, game and two serial ports, 101 key keyboard)
-
- Is this a decent system?
-
- The reason I ask, is that one might have to get a real IBM type,
- and instead of screwing around with emulators, at least stay in the
- family and get an Atari.
-
- Personally, I'd probably rather use the original GEM program (I
- have it) for the IBM and feel right at home, or move to OS/2 (I won
- that program...)
