  10. I've been agonizing over this point, but I have not found many
  11. answers, so here goes.

  13. The price of 14.4 kbps modems have dropped to (relatively) cheap
  14. levels in the past year, and now the ones I have seen are "only"
  15. $150 more than the 9600 bps modems. But most of the terminal
  16. programs that I know of only have a 9600 bps setting, then it
  17. jumps to the 19.2 kbps setting with nothing in between, namely the
  18. 14.4 kbps setting.

  20. Does anyone know of a program that uses the 14.4 kbps setting?

  23. Transfer 1.2 (.ACC)- no
  24. Atari TOS 1.2 control panel- no

  26. Flash? GIME terminal? VT-100 even?

  28. (Don't use baud anymore- with high speed modems, the term becomes
  29. inaccurate. bps (bits per second) is the preferred convention)
