  13. I am running mint on my harddrive.  I have it all on partition H.  I
  14. am also running the init package with mint.  I use bash as my shell.
  15. I am having a couple of problems.  First I cant seem to set up a
  16. symbolic link from h:/mgr to u:/mgr.  I am doing this from within
  17. mint.cnf as follows.

  19. sln h:\mgr u:\mgr
  20.  
  21. The thing that is odd about that is that my other links work fine..  
  22. Is there a reason for this?  The other links I have a h:\bin u:\bin,
  23. h:\gnu u:\gnu, etc.

  25. Now onto other problems.  I startup mgr with no problems, but I cant
  26. seem to run mgrterm?  It starts up, but then doesn't seem to do
  27. anything.  Is there anything special that has to be done.  Also how
  28. can I shutdown mint from within bash?  With tcsh there is an alias 
  29. "shutdown kill -TERM 1" or some such, is there a way to do this from
  30. withing bash?  I cant seem to use kill at all from bash?  Also the
  31. mintbash.zoo the latest version of bash?
