- I am trying to write a real synthesizer-type program for the ST.
- I can build a wavetable, which consists of amplitudes, which then
- is supposed to be sent to the sound chip and played, producing a
- clear tone. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work.
-
- I really need sources to a program which can play digitized sound
- and the format of the files it sucks up. I can then tweak that
- into being a backend for the wavetable generator, and presto! a
- synthesizer. If I implemented MIDI in as a third step, I'd have
- a MIDI-capable sampling synthesizer. After this, I could get a real
- job in a field I'd love to work in.
-
- Thanks in advance....
