  13.     Well a few people asked me to post a follow up if I 
  14. sorted it out. Well i have at least it appears so. Firstly
  15. someone suggested de-greasing the mouse pins, which I did
  16. and it partially worked, so I opened the old STe up, and
  17. had a look at the connections, I found a dry joint on one
  18. of the pins! Re-soldered it and hey presto it appears to
  19. be fine. BTW it is one of the very first STe's that ever 
  20. came out over in England, so it may occur on other early
  21. STe's, can't see why may just be a coincedence!
